Dr. Christina Cardwell has always enjoyed going to the dentist and learning about teeth. After spending some time shadowing a few dental offices, she realized that dentistry could provide her with the opportunity to make a large impact on her patients. She loves that dentistry is the perfect mix of art and science. In fact, cosmetic dentistry is some of her favorite work. She is even certified in Botox® and dermal fillers.
Dr. Cardwell began practicing dentistry in 2019. She graduated from Western Kentucky University and went on to the University of Louisville for dental school where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While in school, Dr. Cardwell was a Clinical Outreach Scholar, won the Louisville Dental Society Ethics and Professionalism Award, and was the team leader for the Christian Dental Society Dental Missions to St. Elizabeth, Jamaica.
The best part of her job is giving patients a smile that they can be proud of. She loves restoring confidence for patients through their smile. And patients enjoy the way that Dr. Cardwell relates to them and provides a stress- and pain-free experience. She loves getting to know her patients and ensuring that their every concern is addressed.
In her free time, Dr. Cardwell loves spending time with her husband, Austin, and their young son, Jackson. She enjoys working out at Shred415, shopping, taking her dog to the park, watching sports, and reading.
An absolutely fantastic dental office. Every single person with whom I interacted was an absolute delight: warm, kind, professional, and knowledgeable. The hygienist and dentist asked me tons of questions and listened patiently as I explained my needs and asked my own questions. We came up with a workable treatment plan, and the front office manager even discussed various payment options. I was overwhelming satisfied with my experience!

Great and friendly staff. Made me feel very welcomed and encouraged about coming to the dentist after years of not being seen. Extremely knowledgeable and broke the treatment down so that is more cost efficient for me. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!
I am a new patient here as my insurance has changed with my new job. They were very thorough and communicative with each other and myself. Being young and new to my own insurance, I am not completely confident in making appointments and using my insurance. However, at Kirchner Dental, they made sure I was comfortable and understood everything from procedures to payment. Really great staff!
As a new patient I was able to get an appointment easily and quickly. Everyone is really helpful and informative. The staff is Super friendly and non judgmental. I have a lot of badly broken teeth and they have been nothing but nice and professional. They explained my dental plan to me completely and answered all my questions. They work hard to help their patients and this is definitely going to be my forever dentist.

This is by far the best dentist experience I’ve had! They do not make you feel rushed at all. They thoroughly explain all of the treatment plan and offer the nitrous club which is a lifesaver if you have dental anxiety! Can’t recommend them enough!
