This dental office will make you comfortable from the moment that you enter the door. The receptionists are very friendly, so that kind of gets you ‘huh’ a little more relaxed. And the place is so well set up. It’s very professional, you know, you’re in a clean environment, so they’re going to be taking care of you, they’re professional.
When I was, you know, I have a sensitivity. My gums and my teeth are sensitive. And when I was about to get… Before they even do any work, they will ask you about that and make sure that you’re comfortable. And kind of test, like, pain level, “Can you feel this? Can you feel that?” And then if you say, “Okay, that is a little bit painful.” Absolutely no problem at all, they will give you, you know, some local anesthesia. They give you the numbs. They numb you up before they do anything.
And then they’re talking to you the whole time making sure that they’re telling you what they’re doing. And there are screens up, so you can see what’s happening if you choose to look, you know, you can see what’s going on. I definitely had some anxiety coming in, but they helped set me. They made me calm right away, and throughout the whole experience, they kept me calm by, you know, talking to me making sure that I was comfortable.

I was calling around because my… I didn’t have a regular dentist here in Louisville. So, I was calling around because my crown had fallen, and I was calling around different places, and I saw an ad for this place, and I’d never been here before. So, they had a good deal going on, and there was something that… I don’t have dental insurance, and there was something about payment options.
So, very interested in that because as a person without dental insurance, I’m very limited on what I can do. And the problem with my crown had been going on for years, and they were so great. I called them on the phone, and I was in… Somebody had canceled. So, I called them, and they got me in right away. Before I knew it, I had a new crown on, like, it was crazy. I called at 9:00 that morning, and by 1:00 that afternoon I had a new crown. I can’t tell you how important that is.
Your smile is so important, and I, for the longest time, had been kind of hiding my smile because I had this…the crown had dropped. So, it created what I call a snaggletooth. Kinda like a snaggletooth action was happening here, and they fixed it. They fixed it right away. So, when I came in with a snaggletooth, you know? And then, I left at 1:00 without a snaggletooth.
And I just looked in the… I remember getting in my car and looking in the mirror and going, “Oh, my gosh, like, they’re even.” And it’s just… I mean, you really don’t… I mean, I could… I almost started, like, crying while I was here. I could’ve hugged everybody, and so, that’s why… So, that compacted with their friendly nature is why I just… I have to come back here all the time. Like, they’re awesome.

So we pulled up my x-rays. I ate a lot of Sour Patch Kids, so that causes cavities. It’s been multiple times, I think, two or three times but a few of those times have been multiple cavities. You know, it’s something that I was dreading before then, fillings can be a little bit intimidating, but after, I don’t know what they do different, I don’t know if the tools or technologies today made it become easier, but it just seems painless and in and out. They numb you up and then next thing you know, you’re out the door waiting for the numbing to go away.
So I would recommend here for a lot of different reasons. One thing that really sold me on it was the Healthy Smile Plan, I think they call it, where you pay a certain amount, which is super reasonable, and they get you whitening trays for your teeth and overall just everyone here. The people. Like I said, you feel, like, you kind of make friends.

So we bring our kids here to have their dental work done as well. Very nice, because like I said, they all know me, they all know my kids. They know that I can go back there and sit with my kids. And they know how to interact with me because they have me as a patient as well.
With having the kids here, it’s a little bit of a different experience. I’m sure for them, too. But they’ve always been so, kind of, reassuring to my kids and also very patient with them. My youngest is four. We brought him, you know, a number of years ago and his first experience did not go well. And we came back maybe two weeks later and the hygienist, Yelena, was blowing up gloves into things. And he was totally enamored with that and then it went well.
So, you know, they just try to find these ways to really make things work for the kids and adjust for kind of what they need.
